What QuietHaze is
QuietHaze is an ambient sound app for focus, calm and sleep. Instead of a playlist of fixed loops, it creates sound environments that evolve while you listen, so a long work session or a quiet evening does not turn into the same thirty seconds on repeat.
How it works
- Procedural audio engine. Parts of each soundscape are generated as they play, which keeps them from sounding mechanical over long sessions.
- Sampled soundscapes. Recorded ambient textures give the generated layers a natural base.
- Two-sound blending. Mix two sound worlds into one environment and set the balance between them yourself.
- Personalised onboarding. Onboarding sets up your first environments around how you work, rest and sleep.
- Intelligent suggestions. Over time the app suggests environments that suit the time of day and what you are doing.
Focus, calm and sleep
QuietHaze is organised around three moments. Focus environments support deep work and study without pulling attention toward the sound itself. Calm environments are for reading, unwinding or a short break. Sleep environments are quieter and slower, designed to fade into the background.

The interface is designed to step back. Controls are there when you need them, and otherwise the sound environment is the product.
Status
